.) "Laid Back" 1982, the sculpture (Ht.120cm) is made of Steel, Wood & Stainless Steel Wire. It is one of a number of large balanced indoor pieces produced in the early 1980s. This particular piece was exhibited in Lancaster & Swansea in 1982 and in Cardiff in 1983.

.) "Recline/Incline" 1983, this is another in the same series (Ht.190cm), but is designed to be shown outside on a slope. It exploits a two-point balance where one of the points is a curve.

.) "Split Identity" 1994, one of the next generation of large steel sculptures (Ht.137cm) that tended to be more self contained than the previous work.

.) "One in the Eye" 1984, the sculpture (Ht.26cm) is the first in a series developed around the theme of "The Eye". They are all wall mounted, in fact the first of the artist's wall mounted sculptures. Some were exhibited in 1987 at the Oxford Gallery, Oxford in an exhibition entitled "Sculptures from Wales".

.) "Silenced & deafened" 1991, these sculptures (Ht.20cm & 60cm) are made of Steel and show the growing interest in condensed form. They were made for an exhibition for the blind. A third piece entitled "Blinded" is not illustrated here.

.) "Three is a Crowd" 1992, like the previous piece, this one is of steel (Ht.43cm) and shows a sculpture that is physically 'in your face' and indicates the artist's growing determination to create more aggressive and at the same time more sensuous sculptures. It also shows like the previous piece a more manipulative approach to the medium of steel and less reliance on found shapes.
