Lotte was born in Aberystwyth in 1984. She move to Carmarthen in 2002. Her artist's statement would suggest a fascinating future within the cultural community in Wales.

Artist's Statement: "What I'm about: I'm interested in colour. I have been investigating this through the context of landscape. I am intrigued how one colour meets another. My surroundings fascinate me, the landscspe provokes emotions. I am capturing the paradoxes between sky and land. Fragments.

"I am interested in seeing how the light affects the darkness, how the landscape is forever changing, exposing us to different sensations. I see the gentle and soft elements within the landscape. Using visual languagebto express the beauty and show how its contemplative aura can be nostalgic and exciting. I use multiple images to express the size and scale of landscape, this continuing beyond what the eye can see. The landscape gives me a sense of belonging. A place in time. Moments.

"I am intrigued by how light pollution can look so beautiful and by how, although we all have a conscience regarding pollution and man-made destruction, we retain an emotional attachment to our environment."
